Description
High-purity grade of poly-anionic cellulose (PAC), with certified degree of substitution. Same base properties as PAC-HV, with guaranteed purity and degree of substitution.
Appearance
White to pale-yellow powder or granules.
Properties
Shares molecular structure with sodium CMC. Benefiting from uniform substitution and high purity, delivers better thickening, suspending, dispersing, emulsifying, bonding, salt-resistance and colloid-protection performance compared with Na-CMC.
Main Advantages
- Good thermal stability.
- Resistance to acid, alkali and salt within pH 3–11.
- Excellent compatibility with other cellulose ethers, water-soluble gums, softeners and resins.
- Good solubility in cold/hot water with simple agitation.
- High solution stability, anti-microbial and non-fermenting.
- Low relative dosage versus CMC (30%–60%).

Application
Same as PAC-HV: superior fluid-loss control, viscosity-building, salt and temperature resistance versus CMC. Suitable for fresh, salt, saturated-salt and seawater systems.
Dosage Guidance
No absolute range documented. Approximate relative consumption: 30%–60% of CMC under identical conditions.
