Description
Low-viscosity, high-purity grade of poly-anionic cellulose (PAC), with certified degree of substitution.
Appearance
White to pale-yellow powder or granules.
Properties
Shares molecular structure with sodium CMC, with better fluid-loss control, salt-resistance and stability versus Na-CMC at equal dosage, with guaranteed high purity.
Main Advantages
- Good thermal stability.
- Resistance to acid, alkali and salt within pH 3–11.
- Excellent compatibility with other cellulose ethers, water-soluble gums, softeners and resins.
- Good solubility in cold/hot water.
- High solution stability, anti-microbial and non-fermenting.
- Low relative dosage versus CMC (30%–60%).
