Description

Extreme-pressure lubricant synthesized from mineral / vegetable oil, emulsifier and surfactants. Delivers strong lubrication, anti-sticking and anti-foaming performance.

Characteristics declared for the product and stated conditions. Selection and performance subject to technical evaluation of the fluid system.

Appearance

Liquid.

Main Advantages

  • Markedly reduces friction coefficient.
  • Protects drill string, extends bit service-life, reduces tripping frequency, lowers drill-pipe torque, improves ROP and mitigates wear on drilling assembly.
  • Remedies insufficient lubricity of conventional lubricants, upgrades mud lubricant formulations.
  • Superior extreme-pressure anti-wear performance under heavy loads with robust lubricating film.
  • Polishes metal contact surfaces to reduce differential-pressure sticking risk.
  • Reduces wear on drill pipe / drill collar in irregular boreholes, deviated wells and directional wells.
  • Promotes oil-in-water emulsion and lowers interfacial tension.
  • Low application dosage yet excellent extreme-pressure lubrication.

Specifications

ParameterValue / LimitUnitTest Conditions
Apparent-viscosity increment≤5.0mPa·s—
Density variation≤0.08g/cm³—
Lubrication-coefficient reduction rate≥80.0%—
Technical note: "Density variation ≤0.08 g/cm³" describes the allowed batch-to-batch spread, not the product density. The lubrication-coefficient reduction rate (≥80%) is a laboratory test result and does not imply an 80% operational field saving. The apparent-viscosity increment (≤5.0 mPa·s) is the change the product causes in the mud, not its own viscosity.

Application

High-efficiency extreme-pressure anti-wear additive for water-based drilling-fluid; especially effective under high-pressure down-hole conditions. Widely used in oil-gas drilling; outstanding performance for deviated and directional wells. Suited for low-/non-fluorescent requirements. Recommended dosage 1%–5%.

Dosage Guidance

1%–5%.

Indicative range from technical documentation. Final dosage requires testing and evaluation of the fluid system.

Packaging & Storage

Steel drums or plastic drums as per customer request; net weight 200 kg (tolerance ±1.5%). Store away from fire; avoid direct sunlight for outdoor stock.
